Students who have a conflict with the Monday or Wednesday common exam, 4:15 - 5:45 pm
Students who have a class on Monday or Wednesday during the regularly scheduled common exam, 4:15 - 5:45 pm, may be permitted to take the common exam at a later session (6:00 - 7:30 pm) on the same day. In this case, you must email your Physics instructor and Christine Oertel. Your student schedule will be checked for a conflict. Once approved, the student will receive a confirmation email providing exam details and exam location. Students will not be permitted to test at the later session if they have not notified the instructor and Christine Oertel.
Students who have to miss the common exam due to illness or other reason must follow the "Physics Department Policy on student's missing a common exam or exam", see policy below.
Physics Department Policy on student's missing
a common exam or exam:
If a student has to miss a common exam or exam, the student must go to the Office of the Dean of Students to get an official excuse and notify the course instructor. If the excuse is granted by the Office of the Dean of Students, a notice will be sent to the Physics instructor and the student will be excused from the common exam or exam. The Physics Department will follow the course policy to generate a 'make up' grade based on the common exam material which is on the final exam.
